Herding Cats – Market Place

24:7 Theatre Festival celebrates its 10th birthday by launching its first Convention event: ‘Herding Cats’.

Lots of fun sessions throughout the day, including an opportunity for theatre craftspeople and makers to showcase portfolios, stimulate contacts and launch freelance careers in a marketplace- style exhibition. Examples of previous projects and commissioned work will accompany digital content, and the makers will be ready to discuss their disciplines. You’ll get the unique chance to chat with and charm some real industry heavyweights and creative characters on the day. If you’re looking to transition from graduate and apprenticeship life into freelance and in-house commissioning in the Arts, consider this Convention your opening into the Manchester Arts scene.

A panel of bold and inspirational speakers from the Arts sector will discuss a topic of austerity in theatre, with a question and answer session. Plus, industry experts and professionals will be offering a surgery-style drop-in service tailored towards Arts and Culture.

If you’d like to exhibit, please contact me by Tuesday 1st July 2014 via
