After performing in last years 24:7, it has been an exciting opportunity for me to learn how the side works when developing a show.
I feel very lucky to be working on two of the productions in such vastly different contexts.
For my first placement, with Mari Lloyd’s Three Women, I have been given the task of initiating their social media and marketing strategy. So far, this has meant lots of tweeting, emailing and designing. It has been so refreshing and slightly nerve-wracking, to be
trusted with what is essentially Mari’s ‘baby’.
For the second part of my placement I am with Jayne Marshall’s The Lives and Loves of Vera Dymond. I will be stage managing the play for them, which I am incredibly excited about. I was able to help hold the auditions which was so much fun, especially as I got an
insight into what an audition panel actually expect of an actor.
Its all a been a big learning curve for me so far, but I’m loving every minute of it!
